I just picked up my race packet! I’m trying not to psych myself out—I know I can do this. Less anxiety, more confidence.

I went for a short run today—1.6 miles in 16 minutes! 9:52 pace, I think. I remember a year ago I was itching to be able to run a 10 minute mile, and now I can beat even that. It feels awesome.

I drove the bike route today—pretty intimidating, but I’m excited to just get into it. I hope once I’m on my bike I’ll be fine.

I’m planning to get there around 6:15 or 6:30 tomorrow morning to set up and get familiar with everything, so this WILL be my last post until after the race.
