I did it! I ran my first official 10k this morning and all I can really say is that I am so proud of myself. Race Highlights: 1. I may not have finished first, or second, or even 87th, but I didn’t stop the entire race. It was unbelievably hot, but I didn’t stop. 2. My goal was 1:20:00 or under. I finished in 1:12:29. That’s an 11:40 pace, and for me, for 6.4 miles, that’s incredible. 3. I beat my dad :) There is nothing I love more than the race atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly and SO encouraging— it’s such a fun place to be. My first 10k: raging success. Can’t wait for the next one :)

I have a serious passion for running and eating. Not at the same time, though.
